A Unique Experience

Assemblage is an inspirational accommodation venue that offers a unique lifestyle experience in Tasmania, 4 km from the Hobart CBD. The New Town Post and Telegraph building, built in 1891 is a Heritage listed property that houses Assemblage Boutique Art Bed & Breakfast, Assemblage Curated - gifts and homewares, and Assemblage Art, Design and Self-discovery Workshops. The Dispatch café is also onsite.

This unique environment, overflowing with hand-made objects and art works, clever ideas, great food and a passion for creative life sets us apart. It is a place to be inspired, where visitors relax and enjoy the delightful indoor and outdoor spaces. The bedrooms on the upper level are elegant in style, while being reminiscent of Parisian artist’s garrets.

The property can be accessed from New Town Road at the front, where there is immediate access to public transport, or from Valentine Street at the rear, where there is street parking available.

Really nice airbnb in Hobart. Super clean space & loved the convenience of going downstairs for breakfast at the cafe in the morning. Thanks Tanya

Great place to stay, close to all necessities and easy to navigate from. Trendy cafe across the road worth visiting. Would recommend staying at Tanya's place.

This room (and the whole building) blew us away with the beautiful artistic touches! It was a wonderful stay, perfectly positioned to explore Hobart, to some great nearby restaurants, and to do some day trips.

Stephanie

I enjoyed my stay thoroughly. Quick communication, easy access, excellent amenities and a super comfortable bed. Great part of town too!
