The Dispatch Café is on the ground floor of the old Post Office below the Assemblage Boutique Art Bed and Breakfast. The café has the original heritage features of the historic building, but is delightfully light, contemporary and welcoming.
Dispatch owners Tim Daly and Scott McKinnon have extensive experience in the hospitality industry. They provide guests with either a light continental breakfast, or a more substantial cooked breakfast on request. This is not included in the room rate, but a discount will apply. Dispatch has a tasty menu available every day.
The elegant dining room with its opulent chandelier is available to guests 24 hours. It is the perfect place to plan your explorations, to catch up on your laptop using the NBN, enjoy a board game with other guests or do some art work. There is also an inviting outdoor space, where guests can enjoy a glass of wine after a busy day exploring Hobart and surrounds. The friendly welcoming atmosphere at the Post Office provides opportunity for guests to meet the locals and enjoy a memorable stay.
